What is Coaching?
According to Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt,
“Everyone needs a coach”.
There is no one size fits all approach with coaching. There are many reasons why people and organisations seek coaching including individual or team development, career transition, enhancing performance and skills.
Coaching is a co-creative process, where the coach assists the client in enabling and invoking a richer perspective, whilst both supporting and challenging the client for desirable self-directed sustainable change through pursuing specific goals.

Types of Coaching
Executive Coaching
Executive Coaching involves working with executives in leading roles in an organisation who have significant responsibility for the people and current and future success of an organisation. We can enable executives to lead more effectively in their leadership role, manage conflicting forces of cooperation and competition within an organisation, weigh up competing interests of stakeholders and manage a work-life balance.
Performance Coaching
Mastery in performance requires mental toughness, self-efficacy, cultivating motivation, discovering one’s own unique performance skills and strategies, repetition and savouring success. We work with clients to enable them to progress more easily and effectively than if they were left to their own devices.
Career and Transition Coaching
Insight into career selection, advancement and development. Whatever stage you are at in your career; knowing your personal values, skills, natural talents, strengths, passions, potential derailers and having a clear vision are key to success.
Or are you making a significant change in your career? Whether you are looking for a new job, changing career or industries, returning to work after maternity leave or illness or about to retire, coaching can assist with the transition to the next stage.
Organisational Coaching
Our approach balances the development and well-being of the individual with the performance of teams to maximise organisational change, effectiveness and success.
Strengths Based Coaching
Do you know what your strengths are? Most people find it easier to list their weaknesses rather than their strengths. However, research has shown that people who use their strengths are more happier and fulfilled, achieve their goals more effectively and at work are more engaged and perform better. We help clients uncover their natural gifts and utilise these talents to help them be the best they can be.
Leadership
In leadership, strengths coaching can develop individual leadership effectiveness and enrich broader organisational capability. When leaders are able to recognise strengths in themselves and others, strengths based coaching can help leaders to unlock what people do best in an organisation and increase organisational performance.
Gallup StrengthsFinder
Individuals, teams or organisations can benefit from using Gallup StrengthsFinder in combination with coaching by a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
Gallup StrengthsFinder is an online assessment tool of personal talent that identifies areas in which an individual has the greatest potential for building strengths. It is a 30 minute assessment that has been used by over 14 million people worldwide to help individuals identify their areas of natural talent. It enhances engagement and initiates a strengths-based development process both for individuals, teams and management. It promotes growth and top performance based on what each individual and/or team naturally does best.
There is over 40 years of research on StrengthsFinder. According to Gallup's database, strengths based development interventions at the employee level led to 7.8% greater productivity and 14.9% lower turnover, and at the team level 12.5% greater productivity and 18.9% greater profitability.
Gallup also found people who regularly apply their strengths are six times as likely to strongly agree they have the opportunity to do what they do best every day, and people who focus on using their strengths are three times as likely to report having an excellent quality of life.
